Dr. Hakim is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, a Fellow of the University of California, and a Fellow of the University of Greifswald, Germany.
Dr. Hakim is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American academy of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, American academy of oculoplasty, International Society of Genetic Eye Diseases and International Council of Ophthalmology.
